As part of its collaboration with NIALS under the Police Programme Africa, funded by the German Foreign Office, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, recently donated some equipment to NIALS

The collaboration with NIALS is aimed at improving the capacity of police and prosecutors through the gathering of forensic evidence and cooperation, training of prosecutors, NPF, Judges and Defense Lawyers on tendering of forensic evidence and admissibility of same in court to further lead the cause of justice right. The NIALS also undertook the responsibility to prepare an explanatory note to the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015.
The equipment some of which are pictured above includes a Server for intranet and Database sharing, 2 Coloured printers, 4 laptops, 2 Desktops a projector ,and a Digital Public Address System.
