The Director-General NIALS, Professor Adedeji, Adekunle, SAN, FIMC and the Vice Chancellor Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede on Tuesday July 31 2018 executed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

affiliating the post graduate Program of the Institute with the programs of the University.
At a brief but impressive ceremony which took place in the Vice Chancellors Office, OAU Ile ife, The Director General who was accompanied by the Director of Studies, Dr. Emmanuel Okon, Associate Professor, paid glowing tribute to the founding fathers of the two institutions observing that beyond the affiliation of the Institute’s postgraduate programs the two institutions should explore further areas of cooperation. On his part Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede, the Vice chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife warmly welcomed the NIALS Management team and congratulated the Institute for this milestone achievement. He also acknowledged that since the institute is recognised nationally and internationally, the University is ready and willing to commence joint venture with NIALS. He observed further that with the likes of eminent academics like Professors Ademola Popoola, Ijalaye and Adediran of the Faculty of Law Ife who are currently serving or had served as external assessors in NIALS post graduate programme or as resource persons in the Institute, he had no doubt that the partnership will be robustly rewarding.
Some principal officers of the Obafemi Owolowo University Ile-Ife present at the occasion were: Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Chris Ajila; Provost, Post Graduate College, Professor Gbenga Alebiowu; Dean Faculty of Law, Professor Odunsi; Vice Dean Law, Dr. Michael Adeleke; Director, Linkages Partnership and Sponsored Research, Professor F. A Adesina and Abiodun Olarewaju, Public Relations Officer. The event came to a close with exchange of gifts from both institutions.
