The United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) project on Support to Access to Justice and Rule of Law in the North-East is focused on bridging the existing gaps by contributing to providing immediate access to justice as part of stabilization and early recovery from conflict.

The British Council, through the NSRP in partnership with NIALS, embarked on a field research project aimed towards obtaining and testing perceptions on the past and current state of insurgency along with its impact, victim’s coping strategies, community perceptions of justice, healing, reconciliation as well as the possibility of reintegrating penitent insurgents so as to achieve enduring peace in the northeast.
