Information technology (IT) law provides the legal framework for collecting, storing, and disseminating electronic information in the global marketplace. The Training Course seeks to provide legal practitioners in this area of the law with the ability to structure information technology transactions in a way that would maximize the client’s economic benefit while ensuring regulatory compliance. A great deal of emphasis will be placed on anticipating potential sources of dispute between the parties to a transaction, fundamental legal issues in the field of Information Technology (IT) Law, E-commerce, implications of e-signature in commercial transactions, resolving jurisdictional law conflicts, digital copyrights protection and online environment, digital forensic evidence and crafting agreements that address these concerns, thereby reducing the risk of litigation.
