The Director-General, Professor A.O. Adekunle has appointed Dr. (Mrs.) Nlerum, Francisca Ekwutosi as Coordinator of NIALS Academic Staff Seminar Series, Lagos Office. The appointment takes effect from January, 2017. Dr. (Mrs.) Nlerum holds an LL.B (Hons), BL, LL.M and Ph.D.
Under NIALS/ British Council (Nigerian) Stability And Reconciliation Programme (NSRP). The workshop was organised by the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies with the Support of the British Council (Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme - NSRP), on the 6th -7th of February 2017, at Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri in preparation for the field research project aimed at achieving justice, Reconciliation and healing in the North East.

Train The Trainer Course On Criminal Justice Responses To Terrorism. Four staff of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) were beneficiaries of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) train-the-trainer Course on Criminal Justice responses to Terrorism.
