The Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) Train the Trainers workshop which was organised in conjunction with United Nations Development Project (UNDP) with the support of the Japanese Government is designed to further equip the Law enforcement agents to assume the role of trainers, facilitators and experts in counter-terrorism trainings that are tailored to address the issues of victim and witness protection, de-radicalization and peace building process.

 

 

Ms Awele Ikobi-Anyali a Research Fellow in the Department of Commercial Law of the Institute recently attended the Common wealth Legal Education Association (CLEA) Conference was held on the 22nd and 23rd of March 2017 in Melbourne Australia.  The theme of the Conference focused on how law schools in the Commonwealth can properly equip law students with required in a globalised world.

 

 

The Institute’s specialised Postgraduate Degree Programmes in Legislative Drafting will be given greater boost as its academic staff prepare for the commencement of the NIALS Online Programme in Legislative Drafting.
