regrets to announce the demise of the former Institute Librarian, Chief Theophilus Olakunle Dada, BA (Hons) Lagos; PGD. Lib (Ibadan); LLB (Hons) Lagos; BL, LL.M (Lagos); ACiArb (UK).

The sad event occurred on Sunday, October 6, 2019 after a brief illness. He was aged 74 years.

Chief Theophilus Olakunle Dada assumed duty in the Institute on March 3, 1980 as a Senior Librarian. He rose through the ranks to become the Institute Librarian in 2000 where he worked assiduously to transform the library to a first class centre for the acquisition of information, knowledge and research. He retired from active service in the Institute in 2011.

Chief T.O Dada was a professional Librarian, Legal Practitioner, Consultant, Arbitrator, Lecturer, Astute Administrator and a Notary Public for Nigeria.
He is survived by a wife, children, grandchildren and other relations.
